Business and Technology Incubator (BTI) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) invite you to apply for the freelancing component within the Go Digital Programme "State of Palestine: Create Self-Employment Opportunities for Vulnerable and Marginalized groups in Gaza through Digital Channels" funded by the Government of Japan.

Technichal Training

The programme provides technical training in various fields and tracks : Web & Mobile Development, SEO, Bookkeeping & Translation.

Coaching

A team of coaches will assist the trainees during the programme to support them in their learning process.

Soft Skills & Freelance Training

The trainees will join Soft Skills training courses to help them properly start a freelancing career.

Taking up jobs in the digital marketplace

The Programme will offer technical and vocational training to a selected group of youth to use digital channels as a new innovative way to connect with clients, gain jobs and access new markets. The selected participants will be registered to a digital platform to become active workers on freelancing marketplaces and manage their online persona.

Go Digital Phase IV builds on the outstanding success of previous phases, continuing collaboration between the International Trade Center and the Business and Technology Incubator. Empowered by the strong commitment from the Representative Office of Japan to Palestine to contribute to social stabilization and support economic recovery of the Gaza Strip to create self-employment opportunities for vulnerable and marginalized groups.

1.How much does the training cost?

All training courses and tracks are provided at no charge. You may apply and join the programme for free.

2.How long does the programme last?

We expect the programme to run between a period of 3 to 6 months during which the candidates must be fully committed.

3.Will be able to get job opportunities after the programme ?

By being committed and engaged in the practical application of the training you increase your chances to gain job opportunities through freelancing platforms.

4.Can I apply for more than one field/track?

It's highly recommended to only apply to the closest field/track to your skills and background. It will increase your chances of getting selected.

5.When will the programme start?

The programme is planned to start in August/September, 2023. Subscribe to our newsletter and follow our partners social media to stay updated.

6.Do I need to be located in Gaza ?

Yes, it's highly recommended to be located in Gaza. Most of the training sessions during this year's edition will be held on-site.
